When will my HoC credit be booked?
As a rule, the credit is uploaded to your credit account approx. 2-4 months after the last course date. As soon as this has been done, you will receive an e-mail from us. In justified exceptional cases, a transcript of records can also be issued earlier in consultation with the lecturers.

Where can I see my HoC performance?
The interdisciplinary qualifications achieved at the HoC are uploaded directly to your credit account and appear under the ‘ÜQ/SQ-Leistungen’ tab. The credits are not automatically recorded in the study programme schedule, but must still be assigned. For most degree programmes, you can assign them yourself. You can find instructions on how to do this here. If self-booking is not possible in your degree programme, please contact the Examinations Office / Student Administration Office of your faculty or the Student Services SLE.
How do I get my paper certificate?
If you still receive a paper HoC certificate, we will inform you by e-mail as soon as the certificate has been issued. We will then forward the certificate to Student Services (SLE) for registration. In principle, paper certificates are only issued to students who are administered in the HiS-POS system, which is being phased out, or who are studying at a university with which KIT has a cooperation agreement.
I still have an old paper certificate that I have not collected
Please send an e-mail to info-sq@hoc.kit.edu. We will also forward these certificates to the Student Service Centre.
Can I book my service as an additional service or Master’s preferential service?
As a rule, HoC credits can be booked as additional credits or Master’s credits. If you have any questions, please contact the Examinations Office of your faculty.
Can I receive a certificate of attendance without ECTS?
The transcripts of records are recorded electronically. It is not possible to issue a certificate of attendance without credits.
