Resilience is the ability to successfully overcome crises. Resilient people can deal with difficult situations better, they stay more relaxed in situations of stress, uncertainty, and failure. They are able to stay effective even when faced with high demands and pressure.

Resilience is like a muscle that can be trained! Just like in sports training, knowledge about correlations and effects, an individual training plan, and consistency help achieve that.

This seminar is about experiencing and trying out how to strengthen the “muscle of resilience”, increasing your personal durability. It is about strategies for relaxation and happiness, the necessary skills, opposing habits, and how to work on these habits.

An exchange of personal experiences by the participants is vital to the course. Another essential part is individual introspection of the practical exercises discussed and developed in the course.

Work Expenditure:

3 ECTS: Active participation in all three workshop days and written reflection report after completion of the workshops.

Lecturer:

Martina Stoll, who originally started her professional life as a graduate physicist, now works as a trainer with a focus on resilience and stress management. It is important to her to always create a connection between theoretical knowledge and practical action.
