We all share the desire to be happy, to feel good or – translated into the language of positive psychology – to “blossom”. In today’s world, characterized by the many demands and pressures of study and private life, we often feel dissatisfied. We lose sight of what makes us happy and strong, increases our well-being and contributes to a good attitude towards life.
This workshop is an invitation to look at what “happiness” and a “successful life” mean for you personally and how you can take better care of your own satisfaction and well-being. We will look at the latest findings in positive psychology – the science of a successful and fulfilling life – your character strengthsand the factors that influence our well-being. For example, knowing our personal strengths and using them as often as possible in everyday life has an impact on our sense of achievement and satisfaction. Self-confidence is strengthened. Experiencing positive emotions or community also has an impact on our well-being. If we make active use of this potential, we strengthen our sense of satisfaction and happiness.
Based on the theoretical background of positive psychology and personal reflections, you will have the opportunity to explore your strengths, emotions and moments of happiness and work out ways to develop these further and make better use of them in everyday life.
