Overview/Objectives:

In this workshop you will practice para- and non-verbal aspects (= body and voice) in the first part, after you have worked through our online module “Professional Presenting”. The second part will focus on your own presentation, which we will work on together. The goal is to optimize your presentation and your performance so that you confidently convince your audience!

 

Contents:

• professional creation of presentations
• Confident handling of slides, lectern, audience, interjections
• presence in body and voice
• aspects of impact (gender, attitude, first impression, etc.)
• Increasing rhetorical effectiveness and persuasiveness

 

Methods:

• Group work
• interactive reflection
• individual presentation with feedback and coaching
• theoretical input
• practical exercises

 

Participation requirement:

Complete ILIAS online course and submit intermediate assignments. 

 

Work Expenditure:

1 ECTS: active participation + ILIAS online course in advance.
