“Just be yourself!” is a popular piece of advice in all situations – but who am I, who do I even want to be and do I always have to be like that? This one-day workshop invites participants to explore the concept of “authenticity”. Accompanied by impulses from the lecturer, the individual and relational dimensions of authenticity will be explored in individual and group exercises. Building on this, we will ask ourselves what role authenticity plays in leadership situations.

The seminar is suitable for anyone – regardless of how authentic they feel – who would like to look behind the scenes of the buzzword and find a personal approach to the topic of authenticity. In line with the famous inscription from the Temple of Apollo at Delphi, “Know thyself!”, the seminar offers participants the opportunity to reflect on relationships, situations and environments in which they experience themselves as authentic, with the aim that they can then deal with themselves and others with greater self-confidence. The seminar has a high self-reflection component.

Workload for ECTS:

1 ECTS: active participation in the workshop and completion of a reflection task following the workshop
