Especially in challenging and stressful situations, we are influenced in our thoughts, feelings and actions by our current mindset; it can either give us wings or create obstacles in our way. Psychological mindset research shows that we are all influenced by our mindset in how we react to failures, mistakes and feedback and how we develop personally.

In this three-part seminar, you will develop a scientifically sound understanding of what a Mindset is and what makes the difference between a Growth Mindset and a Fixed Mindset. In addition, you will address the following questions, among others, in form of a systematic reflection:

  • How do a Growth Mindset and a Fixed Mindset affect me within leadership processes?
  • To what extent does a Growth Mindset represent a leadership competence (especially with regard to the design of change processes within an agile working world)? When might a Fixed Mindset prove its worth in this context?
  • What changes can I initiate in order to develop or promote a Growth Mindset in a group?

Workload for ETCS:

2 ECTS: After each of the three online sessions, participants will have to edit a logbook and hand it in before the start of the following session.
