“Just be yourself!” is a common advice in many situations – but who am I, who do I want to be, and do I have to stay like that forever? This one-day workshop invites participants to have a conscious look at the concept of authenticity. Accompanied by impulses from the lecturer, participants will get to highlight different individual and relational dimensions of authenticity. Based on this, we will pose the question: What is the role of authenticity in leadership situations?

The seminar is suited for anyone interested in a look behind the scenes of the vogue expression of authenticity – no matter how authentic they feel themselves – to find a personal way of dealing with the topic. Following the famous inscription at the Temple of Apollo at Delphi “Know Thyself!”, the seminar offers participants the opportunity to reflect on relations, situations, and environments in which they experience themselves as authentic. The seminar has a high amount of self-reflection.

Workload for ECTS:
1 ECTS: Active participation in the workshop as well as a reflective exercise afterwards.
