Using your own projects, you will get to know and subsequently apply classic and agile project methods. Important terms and methods of the project phases will be presented and tested. In addition to this technical part, we will also work on several behavioral competences like motivation, negotiating, and conflict management. Equipped with these, your study projects as well as private ones should become easier and more successful.

Learning Objectives:

Participants will learn how to systematically plan and work on their projects and how to ask the right questions and utilize suitable methods.

Requirements:

Participation in the course is primarily possible in combination with the course “research practice”.

1 ECTS: Active participation and completion of the exercises (handed out in informatics)

Lifelong learning is part of the project manager’s professional life. In numerous training projects, he has digitally implemented new qualification concepts for various customers and organizations. It helps to acquire a spectrum of methods and processes, e.g. SCRUM, Kanban, Lean, Design Thinking, UX, Effectuation, Idea & Innovation Management, DevOps, Agile Scaling (Nexus, LeSS).

• Currently working as an Agile Coach in management consulting, with focus on developing agile teams and organizations
