Have you ever wondered how leadership works without rigid rules or hierarchies?
In this workshop, you will learn to understand leadership as a living social process – characterized by diverse expectations and roles that interact with each other.
The workshop gives you a playful perspective on leadership and provides you with tools that you can use to analyze and actively shape everyday interactions.
Using analog game elements and game-based methods, you will learn how leadership works as a malleable social process. The basis is the systemic analysis and design approach Playristics©, which combines findings from pedagogy, sociology, psychology and game research.
The focus is on the question of which rules – explicit and implicit – influence interaction in leadership situations and how these can be changed through conscious design.
What you will take away from the workshop:
- You will learn the basic principles of a playful perspective on leadership and be familiar with its systemic foundations
- You will be able to use game-based methods to analyze leadership situations and recognize social dynamics in the interplay of participants, expectations and framework conditions
- You can identify both success criteria and potentially competing interests in leadership situations
- You will develop initial design ideas for leadership situations based on game theory and systemic principles
- You reflect on your individual interest in future leadership roles and recognize personal development areas
