An essential prerequisite for good teaching is the ability of teachers to form sustainable relationships with students. An important way of shaping relationships lies in the clarity of communication and in an attitude that takes the situation of the other person into account in the conversation.
The course is aimed at students who have already completed the practical semester (proof required) and offers an in-depth examination of school experiences.
On the one hand, communication about teaching, which is particularly relevant in the traineeship, will be addressed, such as teaching under observation, collegial feedback and discussing lessons against the background of an assessment. In addition, the course deals with communication in the classroom, particularly with regard to disruptions in lessons and dealing with conflicts, as well as educational effectiveness.
We expect active participation and a willingness to engage in scenic procedures (e.g. role-playing) and to prepare and conduct a short teaching situation in a manner appropriate to the target group.
Please make sure that you can be reached by e-mail at your KIT address in the run-up to the event.
Since attendance on all three days of a block course is a prerequisite for the certificate of achievement, it is important that you exclude collisions with exam dates.
