The next exam is coming up in three weeks. The decision has been made: “I’ll start studying tomorrow – right after breakfast!” But after breakfast, the bathroom and kitchen are finally cleaned again, then two important letters are quickly sent to the post office and two emails are answered. After a long phone call, it’s actually time for lunch again… The rest of the day follows this pattern and in the evening you realize that although you’ve done a lot of important things, you still haven’t started studying. Who hasn’t experienced this?

The aim of the seminar is to get to know different strategies against procrastination and to apply them independently in everyday life. The seminar consists of monitoring in everyday life and various self-learning components.

Learning objectives:

  • To increase the ability to reflect on one’s own behavior.
  • Getting to know and applying techniques to reduce procrastination during studies.

Workload for ECTS:

2 ECTS: Carrying out monitoring in everyday life to promote self-reflection, working on technique-based modules to combat procrastination, working on worksheets and test questions, short reflection work.
