Most of us have experienced such uncomfortable situations: in a group or a team you feel “different” compared to the others, or you can’t get along with some people, or you are afraid to speak and don’t dare to share your opinion because it diverges from the group consensus. This workshop is an invitation to encourage people to show their authentic self and to be curious about others!
The objective of this workshop (based on tips, discussions and practices) is to recognise diversity as a chance rather than a challenge. Increasing awareness and integration of diversity promotes meaningful and deeper conversations which results in stronger interactions and relationships in groups on a long term. Why? Simply because each individual feels respected and safe enough to behave in an authentic manner and to contribute to the group.
Building on the potential of diversity is an essential element of leadership principles. Anybody should purposely implement this in group or team discussions during his/her studies or privately.
Acquired competencies:
- Participants understand dimensions and the benefits of integrating diversity
- Participants experience how accelerated trust and enhanced psychological safety support the integration of diversity in groups and therefore promote new team dynamics.
- Participants practice and reflect on actions to challenge the status quo, based on expected benefits for themselves and their environment.
- Participants define actions for their daily routine (privately and in their studies) to contribute differently and to better integrate others in collaborations.
Workload for ECTS:
1 ECTS: participation in a full-day seminar, transfer task: writing a field report including a plan for at least 2 concrete actions in the coming months.

In my role in HR and organizational development in the pharmaceutical industry, I support colleagues through coaching and training so that they adopt agile ways of working and give their best. In my personal and professional life, I am committed to the inclusion of people who are minorities by culture, religion, education, sexual orientation, or disabilities. I have fortified my experience as a project and team leader with certifications in project and change management and as a systemic business & management coach and trainer. Parallel to my employment in the pharmaceutical industry, I offer personal life coaching sessions and yoga classes to support the well-being of my clients. My focus is clear: the human being!
