Great things never came from comfort zone. That’s what they say on posters at hostel receptions, on book covers and just before graduation. But is that true?

In this seminar, we start from a different hypothesis: The comfort zone represents the personal area of one’s own resources, resilience and regeneration. This place of strength gives us a sense of security and the ability to shape change and withstand the associated stress.

The seminar starts with a day of presence, during which we explore the basics of our own comfort zone, stabilizing and expanding it. This is followed by comfort zone coaching, for which we meet online twice a few weeks apart. This gives us enough time between meetings to incorporate useful things into our everyday lives and discover obstacles so that we can address them at the next meeting.

What will you take away from this seminar?

  • You will get to know your own comfort zone (better) and actively shape it
  • You will receive tools to deal with stress in a sustainable and healthy way
  • You will learn how to use your comfort zone as a source of strength to initiate change
  • You network with other participants and benefit from shared experiences and exchanges

Workload for ECTS:

2 ECTS: Participation in the seminar + preparation of a reflection report or comparable achievement, “homework” between the dates.

Lecturer:

Quirin Schnack works as a supervisor, coach, team developer and teacher. He accompanies people in their development and change processes – always with the aim of ensuring that development and growth succeed from a strengthened and secure attitude. This conviction also shapes his own approach: Quirin attaches great importance to consciously stepping out of his own comfort zone and designing the settings in which he works as solution spaces. The result is an atmosphere that is both fun and has a tangible impact.
