The seminar participants first perform a monitoring in their daily life, with the goal to uncover individual features in their learning behavior. The results then act as the basis to recognize potential for improvement in one’s own behavior.

In the self-study parts, the participants learn about concrete learning and working techniques relevant for their studies. The focus is placed on techniques for text handling and strategies for organizing, memorizing, planning, and regulating.

Work Expenditure:

2 ECTS: Performing a monitoring of one’s daily life to encourage self-reflection, processing technology-based modules, processing worksheets and test questions, short reflective report

3 ECTS: Performing a monitoring of one’s daily life to encourage self-reflection, processing technology-based modules, processing worksheets and test questions, detailed reflective report

Learning Objectives:

  • Increasing the ability to reflect one’s own learning behavior
  • Applying techniques to improve and optimize the learning behavior
  • Developing and applying measures for effective objectives and action planning
  • Developing and applying strategies for control and regulation
