Overview/goals:

The aim of this seminar is to positively change your presence and charisma.

We want to sharpen your awareness of your body, the room and yourself in the room. I want to give you the opportunity to playfully develop an awareness of your impact.

 

Contents:

• Perception of the space and the body
• Clear interaction
• What is a communication space and how do I design it?
• How is status expressed in the body?
• Playfully trying out ways of expression
• Space for individual questions and needs

• Everything I have at my disposal from 30 years of stage experience 😉
• Perception exercises
• Approaches from theater sports and clown training
• Status research
• improvisation
• Group and individual work
• Performance and feedback

 

Participation requirements:

You need comfortable clothes, fun to play and the courage to take a gap.

1 ECTS: active participation and reflection report

 

Lecturer:

Theater actor, voice actor and coach Gunnar Schmidt has been performing on German stages for 30 years – currently at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe. He not only makes his experience in the field of presence and communication in front of an audience available to the students of the KIT in a playful way.
