In this extraordinary one-day workshop, you will experience leadership not just as a theoretical concept, but as a practical experience.
Through simple guided (partner) exercises from dance (no dance experience necessary!), aspects such as leading and following, closeness and distance as well as presence and balance can be experienced in practice. You will experience first-hand what it means to
– to radiate clarity
– to share responsibility
– to set impulses instead of pulling them
– creating momentum at the right time
We reflect on how posture – both physically and figuratively – shapes our leadership behavior and what it means to lead and follow clearly and attentively. You will be amazed at how much professional and disciplinary leadership has to do with musical rhythm, posture and presence – and how quickly what you learn can be transferred to everyday working life.
Why dance?
Because bodies don’t lie. You can make an impact with minimal signals – without PowerPoint and positional power. Instead of theory, you experience leadership through dialog, body language, spatial awareness and non-verbal feedback. The movement exercises promote a sense of relationship, self-awareness and impact and you experience leadership through dialog, body language, spatial awareness and non-verbal feedback.
