Emotions such as joy, fun and happiness, but also fear, anger, frustration and sadness are part of our lives. The latest findings from emotion research invite us to take a look at our own emotions that is completely new and surprising for many: emotion research makes it clear that emotions do not appear by chance, that all emotions are important and that they all have a meaning. Emotional competence is a key competence, not only for successful studies. In this three-part seminar, you practice your emotional competence by 1) training your ability to notice and distinguish between emotions, 2) learning how to systematically explore and understand your emotions, and 3) learning ways to use both positive and negative emotions.

Work Expenditure:

2 ECTS: After each of the three online sessions, participants will have to edit a logbook and hand it in before the start of the following session.
