Leadership is not a power-free space. Power plays a role in the question of whether leadership comes about, who assumes leadership and how leadership is practiced.
In this workshop, we will look at the connection between leadership and power in order to better understand what responsible leadership means and how we can shape it together.
What you will take away from the workshop:
- You will explore the connections between leadership, power and responsibility
- You will get to know different concepts of power and reflect on how they work in leadership situations
- You will combine theoretical perspectives with practical questions: What exactly is abuse of power? How does it arise – and how can it be prevented?
- You will learn how the positive potential of power can be used consciously and sensibly in leadership relationships
