  • Definition of “team”, differences between teams and groups, pros and cons of teamwork
  • Factual and relationship levels in teams (iceberg model)
  • Requirements for successful teamwork
  • Defining goals and tasks
  • Clarifying the work approach
  • Establishing decision processes and competences
  • Work organization with a project structure plan (structuring the project into work packages) and a project timeline (arranging the temporal structure of the work packages)
  • Project monitoring

Learning Objectives:

  • Getting to know the requirements for successful teamwork
  • Recognizing team dynamics and how to handle them
  • Gaining increased clarity of one’s own strengths and weaknesses in teams
  • Expanding one’s competences of team organization

Requirements:

Participation in the course is only possible in combination with the course “Studio: Concept”.

Work Expenditure:

1 ECTS: workshop, reflection report, evaluation discussion

 

Lecturer:

Britta Hoffmann is a research assistant at the perspective laboratory of the HoC, where she leads the wiseUP project, which is aimed at student honorary positions. She is also a freelance trainer and systemic coach with a focus on communication.
