We’ve all been there: you find yourself in a group or a team, but somehow you feel “different”. You simply don’t get on with some people or you don’t dare to express your opinion openly because it doesn’t necessarily correspond to the majority. This seminar is designed to encourage you to be authentic and arouse curiosity about other people!
The workshop focuses (with tips and exercises) on seeing diversity as an opportunity rather than an obstacle. Through the perception and integration of diversity, profound conversations arise that strengthen interactions and relationships in the group in the long term, because each individual feels respected and confident enough to appear authentic and contribute to the team.
The potential of diversity is part of a corporate leadership culture that can be practiced in one’s own experience during the course of study, e.g. in group or team meetings, at university or in private.
Learning objectives:
- Participants understand the dimensions and value of diversity.
- Participants experience how increased trust and psychological safety can support the integration of diversity in groups and thus create new team dynamics.
- Participants develop plans on how to challenge the status quo and how to benefit from it.
- Participants plan concrete actions to engage differently and be more inclusive in their everyday lives and studies.
Literature:
- Before the seminar: Video for inspiration
