More is written during studies than some students initially believe. At the latest when writing the final thesis, it becomes clear that text and writing skills are important prerequisites for presenting your own research in an academically appropriate form. This is exactly what our course prepares you for. Using a scientific protocol, you will learn how to plan a writing project and implement it with LaTeX, formulate it scientifically and cite it correctly. You will also receive an introduction to good scientific practice. The course consists of four independent parts:

2 ECTS: online phase, writing consultation, 1 workshop (LaTeX), submission of minutes
Lecturers:
Andreas Hirsch-Weber is head of the writing lab at the House of Competence. His main topics are writing and information skills, good scientific practice, skills development through e-learning and writing research with a focus on STEM subjects.
