In our society, quick changes, excessive consumption, and high pressure towards conformity are part of everyday life. We are regularly confronted with the question “what should I keep and what can I let go of?” and in the process, we often repeat old behavioral patterns, convictions, and habits even though we sense they make our lives more difficult. A healthier approach would be to examine what really seems important and valuable, allowing old ballast to be “thrown overboard” and free space for something new.
The workshop covers the following topics:
- Knowledge transfer of psychological theories and Buddhist wisdom
- Letting go of old patterns
- Recognizing individual motivations, aspirations, and goals
- Bringing awareness into your life (with relaxation techniques and more)
There will be a diverse mix of theoretical basics, self-reflection, and practical individual and group exercises.
Workload:
1 ECTS: Active participation in the seminar as well as additional tasks like:
- Preparation and postprocessing (in the form of individual reading of recommended literature on the topic)
- Completion of the transfer exercises recommended in the workshop
- Written reflective report or equivalent
- E-learning modules
