The main objective is to provide clear guidelines for the creation of scientific illustrations for scientific publications. Participants will learn which color combinations to use to maximize the readability of their illustrations and which combinations to avoid to accommodate the colorblind. In addition, students will experience first-hand how to structure a reliable workflow from Python to Inkscape to create high-quality scientific illustrations.

Work Expenditure:

1 ECTS: active participation in the workshop, and production of 1 figure

Lecturer:

Fabio is a physicist with a background in complex system, opinion dynamic and neuroscience. Currently he is using physics tools to study how a pandemic influences human behaviour and how that influences the evolution of a pandemic.
