It’s exam time, your study schedule is full, your head is full too – and just before the exam, your nerves are getting the better of you. In this seminar, students learn various meditation and breathing techniques that can be used in particularly challenging situations, such as stressful exam periods.
When your daily study routine is packed, your to-do list is piling up, and your mind can hardly find peace, that’s often exactly what you need: a reliable toolbox to help you get yourself back on track. This seminar is about learning about such tools – and, above all, trying them out in practice.
Participants learn how mindfulness, resilience, and self-regulation work in concrete terms and what the psychology behind them is. The focus is not on dry theory, but on application: short exercises, meditations, and breathing techniques that can be used directly in your studies—for example, during intensive learning phases, when you feel overwhelmed, or before exams.
It also examines how emotions arise, how they can be better understood, and how they can be regulated in a more targeted manner. The goal is not “more discipline,” but rather a more constructive approach to stress, thoughts, and personal expectations. Step by step, students develop individual strategies instead of general tips that often do not work in everyday life.
Finally, the mindful attitude is also transferred to dealing with others: communicating more clearly, reacting more calmly, and interacting more consciously. An accompanying reflection report helps to integrate the content into everyday student life in a sustainable way – beyond the seminar.
