A thesis at the touch of a button! This sentence has not yet been proven true. Although text-generating AI offers support in many steps of the final paper, term paper or seminar paper, its safe and targeted use requires appropriate skills on the part of the user.

Information and text skills as well as a basic technical understanding of text-generating AI are essential in order to use AI research tools sensibly, to find the right inputs in text-generating AI and, in particular, to critically evaluate and improve the text outputs. In the workshop, participants will therefore learn which processes of the thesis project (from research to outlining to written finalization) can be substituted by text-generating AI, which control mechanisms must definitely be carried out by them and are taught the necessary basic knowledge of scientific research and writing.

In addition to input lectures on the questions listed here, the workshop also includes practical writing exercises that train the responsible use of text-generating AI.
