Coaching – this word is used in many circumstances but who does really know what it actually means? Many don’t know nor understand the strong benefits that individuals and teams can gain from applying efficient coaching skills in both the professional and private environments.

Fundamentals of coaching are focussed listening combined to asking powerful questions. Both foster interactions of higher efficiency and quality since they reduce the probability for misinterpretation and support better mutual understanding among people engaged. In modern companies a significant level of expertise in such soft skills is equally recognized and demanded as technical competencies.

This workshop is recommended for anybody who wants to develop powerful coaching skills in order to collaborate successfully and effectively in teams. In a first step, participants will get to understand what coaching is and which advantages it provides. Examples from the business will illustrate why leaders are requested to develop and apply coaching skills to establish and promote agile ways of working. Participants will learn and practice simple and powerful coaching techniques. In support of the learning environment a safe space will be created to allow all to experiment and acquire sustainably new skills that can be applied daily in any interaction. Workload for ECTS:

1 ECTS: Participation in the day workshop, transfer task: writing a short field report including planning of at least 2 concrete actions for the coming months, participation in a short session for consultation and exchange of experiences in smaller groups.
