In the workshop, we teach key concepts of discrimination and power structures in an understandable and practical way so that no prior knowledge is required. At the same time, we create a framework in which participants can reflect on their own experiences and blind spots. We work with interactive methods that encourage self-reflection and facilitate a change of perspective. We also use theater pedagogical elements – theater experience is expressly not necessary. This enables participants to try out ways together to become capable of acting in situations of discrimination.

At the end of the event, you will be able to …

• identify different forms and levels of discrimination
• recognize and analyse the connection between stereotypes, prejudices, discrimination and power and apply this to your own experiences.
• reflect on your own imprints, values and social positioning and understand their influence on identity and perception.
• develop options for action as victims or observers.
