The voice is as individual as a fingerprint. It conveys not only linguistic content, but also emotional messages. In speaking professions such as teaching, the voice is exposed to high stress. A confident, flexible and healthy used voice generates attention and provides assertiveness, which is of importance for the success of teaching that should not be underestimated.
Topics:
Physical exercises, breathing technique, connection between body and voice, speech training, varied speaking, text composition, presentation technique, dealing with voice problems.
Workload for ECTS:
1 ECTS: active participation in the course dates, short lecture
2 ECTS: active participation in the course dates, follow-up through regular exercises, term paper of 5 – 7 pages or presentation of appropriate length.
