Good leadership is still often associated with loudness, assertiveness and constant visibility. But what really makes a good leader today? Does good leadership have to be loud or are there other, equally effective ways of taking responsibility?
The workshop invites you to question common notions of leadership and to explore your own approach to leadership. What makes me tick? What images of leadership shape me and how well do they fit my personality? And what role can introversion play in this?
The aim of the workshop is to provide orientation in dealing with the topic of leadership – not as a rigid role model, but as an individual task that can fit in with your own strengths, needs and limits.
In the workshop you will learn
- better understand your own introversion and assess whether a future leadership role can fundamentally suit your personality and needs.
- identify typical strengths of introverts and recognize their importance for successful leadership in your studies and career.
- classify prevailing, more extraverted expectations of leadership and cooperation and develop a reflective approach to dealing with them.
- which everyday strategies for self-management and energy management can help you to take on responsibility without overburdening yourself.
The workshop is designed to be interactive. In short inputs, self-reflection, small group work and exchange phases, we will deal with our own experiences, needs and expectations.
